Are These the Days of Elijah?

The Prophet Malachi promised that Elijah the prophet would come right before the “great and awesome day the LORD.”  The Jewish people do not believe that he has come, whereas we as Christians know that Jesus proclaimed that John the Baptist was Elijah.  Today we are the “Elijahs”, because we are supposed to be preparing the “Way of the Lord” in the “wilderness” for His Second Coming.

Right now we are seeing very dark forces rising up.  We have seen ISIS, North Korea, Abu Sayyaf, Al-Qaida, Hezbollah, Boko Haram, Al Sahbaab, Hamas, and dozens of others intent on killing Christians, Jews, and anyone they do not like.

The powers of darkness are being manifested in social behavior and the glamorization of evil, Satan, slavery, pornography, and just about everything that goes against the Spirit and Truth.  The Burning Man festival is a good example.   This “alternate world” is an ultimate freak-out with drugs, sex, sorcery, witchcraft, worship of the dead, and now even a human sacrifice.  Check out the post on the “Burning Man”.   We are witnessing Defiance and “demi-gods” taking front stage in America with the media glamorizing their every action and declaration.  God is now going to act.

In the time of Elijah, Jezebel introduced Baal worship which was a combination of nature worship, Idol worship, child sacrifice, self mutilation, and worship of Asherah.   This is an amazing parallel to what we see today, if you consider abortion as child sacrifice and piercing as mutilation.  Temple prostitution is associated with drugs, slavery, child abuse, and the worship of Asherah.

Do you remember how Elijah was hunted down by Ahab?  Finally Elijah agreed to meet King Ahab’s 850 prophets of Baal at Mount Carmel for the showdown of the Ages.  It had not rained in Israel ever since God told Elijah that He would not bring rain…. and of course Ahab blamed Elijah.  He had all the people show up to watch the battle.  Elijah gave the Baal prophets as much time as they needed, even time to cut themselves and wail to their god.  Elijah then had the men dig a trench and fill it with water.  In this trench he drenched the wood for the altar that was built and then called out to God.  God answered and lit the altar up and the  sacrifice was  fulfilled.  The people then killed all the prophets of Baal.  This was the ultimate supernatural battle fought on a mountain top in front of all the kings men and for all the people to witness.   Are we willing to take a stand for God and “destroy” the demi-gods and idols in our lives?  Why are people wasting hours watching sports, idolizing sports and sport heroes, talking sports, and promoting sports?  Why are we setting a bad example for kids?  These so called heroes are often abusers of women, of the temple of the Holy Spirit which is their body, and glamorizers of violence.

Today on this same Mount Carmel there is another “Altar” – one that represents all the pagan religions of the world.  It is lit up at night like a great pyramid of paganism and Baal worship for all the world to see. Israel allows it!  Below is a picture of this eleven level pyramid of altars to the world’s most prominent religions including ancient ones to Saturn, which is just another name for Satan.  This is a testimony of the fallen nature of culture today including that of Israel and God’s chosen people.  Again “Testimonies” are an integral part of my new book:  COSMIC CROSSROAD COUNTDOWN- The Fig Tree & The Prophetic Generation.

The KEY to prophecy as Given by Jesus Christ himself: COSMIC CROSSROAD COUNTDOWN

God says to you and me, “As high as heaven is over the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways; and my thoughts are higher than your thoughts.” God purposes trials and disasters for our sake in order to draw us and others to Him. We have witnessed an all out effort by certain people to divide America and cause social turmoil. What we have seen with hurricane Harvey is a very diverse group of people working together to help each other saving lives and property. Now we need to pray that the Zeka virus and other diseases do not gain a foothold in the aftermath.

God says, do you want platitudes and pats on the back, or do you want the Truth? When we do not show our children and our neighbors the Glory of God in our lives and in their lives, it is like taking them to a “Rocky Mountain high experience” then locking them up in a hall of mirrors. God says to us, “Call to me and I show you great and mighty things that you do not know.”

One of those Great and Mighty things that Jesus told the disciples and wants us to know concerns the End Times and His discourse on the Mount of Olives just before giving up his life for us. In Matthew 24 Jesus gives a detailed discourse on the End Times, the Abomination of Desolation, and His Second Coming. Jesus explains that a special “Last Generation” (which he describes in relation to the ripening of the summer fig), will not pass away until all these end time events have taken place. So what is the key to this knowledge and puzzling fig tree parable? My book the COSMIC CROSSROAD COUNTDOWN reveals the answer, and explains how Jesus gave us clues in previous “fig tree discourses” to unlock the Truth.

The Fig Tree prophecy is what motivated me to write the book.  Then God showed me how the 4 arms of the “Crossroad”  intersect with our period of time.  This is not a popular subject since there has been so much error in the past.  This, however, is the real deal, promised by Jesus Christ himself on the Mount of Olives. This is why the Holy Spirit compelled me to research the information and write the book as quickly as possible.   Since the date of publishing this is what has happened: 1) Concerning the Solar Eclipse I wrote: “Is this a warning to a secularized America; to the compromised Jew, the weak church, and an overconfident community of Godless, technology and science dependent agnostics? Is this the beginning of judgment and will a massive storm or earthquake hit America soon?”   2)  Two weeks ago as an explanation to future storms I wrote that “the mother of hurricanes is headed to Florida.”  I am now praying for my brother and others who live in low lying areas of Florida.

“Harvey” means “branding Iron” and was a phrase used to show God’s desire that we be slaves to God and not slaves to the world system. Note that Harvey hit “Corpus Christi” which means “body of Christ” which is the church. The Solar Eclipse happened on Aug 21 and the “storm” happened on the 25th….and when you read Luke 21:25 you have, “And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and waves.”   God has ordered the events that we are seeing.  Here is an excerpt from my book COSMIC CROSSROAD COUNTDOWN:   “Just as He has named the stars, God has also given purpose to years, dates, and numbers. Everything He has done, is doing, and will do has order and a purpose! God wants us to understand what is going on in around us, so that we do not panic when trials begin! As you contemplate what this may mean to you, pray and read the four Gospels in the Bible. Read the questions and the testimonies and the detailed extra explanations that are at the end” of my book.  The events that we are seeing are “testimonies” to God’s purpose in fulfilling prophecy.

The Perversion of the LAW, Noah’s time, and the Sign of Jonah.

COSMIC CROSSROAD COUNTDOWN: The Fig Tree & The Prophetic Generation was written to Wake up America.  God inspired me to write this to wake you up. This is written to shake up the reticent, the comfortable, the confident, and the bright.  Yes, there is a countdown and you are a part of it.  That is why time and events seem compressed and sped up and that is why there is so much uncertainty, uneasiness, fear, and anxiety. We need to get our lives together and seek God.

This is what I want to impress on you in this  discourse.  The LORD is not coming back the way he came the first time.  He is returning in order to gather His church and to judge the earth and the people on the earth.  This plan was set centuries ago.  His Plan was expressed in Genesis and partially revealed in Genesis 3:15.  Whether you believe it or not, this revelation occurred in the Garden of Eden when the LORD addressed the serpent in front of Adam and Eve.  The LORD told the serpent “he will strike the heal of the seed of the woman, but that the seed would crush his head.”  About 4000 years later Jesus would be born and the church would be created.  John an Apostle of Christ would write about the “Child” in the Woman of Revelation 12.  In this “Wheel of Time” two messages are conveyed about the same characters.  Satan will “strike” and injure the “Promised” seed, but in turn the child  will win the war and Satan will be defeated.  The first promises a Messiah and the second promises a child which will grow and is to be raptured, despite the serpent’s pursuit.  Since Jesus Christ is in us and we are in Jesus Christ, the child is the church.  Jesus himself has not and will not be raptured, nor was He in danger of being devoured by Satan.

The Great Sign as described by John is the Sign of the Woman of Revelation 12.  This sign is coming together in the next few weeks like it has never before.  This is just one of 4 reasons why I wrote the book: COSMIC CROSSROAD COUNTDOWN: The Fig Tree & The Prophetic Generation.  The Fig Tree discourse shared by Jesus Christ concerning what he called the “Last Generation” or what can be designated as the  “Prophetic Generation” is the main reason why I set my pen upon paper to get the message out.  The other two reason related to all the incredible Testimonies by the Apostles, the Prophets, and many others,  and the Convergence of the Generations- the 70, 50, 100, and 40 generational periods described in the Bible.  These 4 reasons make up the 4 legs or arms of the Crossroad that will soon intersect our timeline.

In the time of Jesus there were a group of men in white robes called the Pharisees.  They took the LAW that God gave the people and used it to manipulate and control the Jewish nation.  They perverted the message that God gave from His heart of Mercy.  You will see how they clearly did this in my book. Likewise we have a group of people in “white robes” who have perverted the “Laws” today.  These people are telling us that it is normal to pervert our sexual orientation, the institution of marriage, and a child’s sex.  They are telling us to ignore the natural LAWS of creation in other fundamental ways including the laws of Thermodynamics.  Yes, these people are trying to brainwash everyone into believing that everything came from nothing!  They are trying to drive God out of the lives of children and replace it with the gods of evolution, re-incarnation, self actualization, and any other  form of worthless mind numbing and mind fogging pursuit.  That is why Jesus said, “To an evil generation I will give only one sign and that is the sign of Jonah.”

The Sign of Jonah has been proven by secular observers to be a Solar Eclipse that happened a short time before Jonah preached the warning of God’s Wrath if they did not repent.  Guess what “They Repented” and their nation was temporarily spared.  Take notice that the Sun turned to darkness when Jesus was crucified.  In today’s world  God has placed pastors in every city in this nation calling for repentance, yet few have heeded the warnings.  God gave Nineveh 40 days to repent and He gave us 40 days starting with the Solar Eclipse on August 21.  We did not repent.

Again I suggest you read my previous message as it gives more detail on what I am about to share.  You will see that we are being given the same signs and warnings.  The world, however, is looking to scientific predictions, calculations and experts to answer problems.  They are not looking at signs.  Jesus  said that a future generation would  come under the sign of “Noah”.  This sign of “Noah’s day” also relates to our society and therefore forms another “Wheel of Time” that is intersecting God’s prophetic time-line.  Like in Noah’s day we marrying and giving to marriage.  We have a “family” that is building an “Ark” just as Noah’s family built an ark on dry land.  The people scoffed and laughed at Noah and his family.  Likewise people today scoff and laugh at the “family of God” that is ministering the Gospel of Truth to the world.  This Gospel puts Jesus Christ at the center and accepts the Word as the Truth, the inerrant Truth.  He is the Ark that Saves. He the Creator of the Universe – not the Big Bang.  He is the creator of all life-form, not evolution.  He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and as he Himself says, “and no one comes to the Father except by me”.   There is no other way!  He is the only God.

Everyone needs to take a spiritual inventory and an eternal perspective before it is too late!  If you cannot understand, nor concentrate on the Bible it is useless as revelation to you.  Every Word in the Bible is inspired!  It feeds the human soul, just as Jesus said, “My bread is every word that procedeth out of the mouth of God!”  Yes, the Word or Bible is more than just words, it is the living Word that can divide and discern soul and spirit, mind and falsehood, and even natural and supernatural.  Even the words of Shakespeare are meant to tickle the mind and are for entertainment: the Word of God is not!  Understand that there is a real war going on in the supernatural as stated in the inspired  word Paul shared with the Ephesians.  “ For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

 If you devote time with the Creator of the Universe, he will reply to your quest and question.  He will open your own mind and heart up, and remove the fog of fear and pride, giving you knowledge of both the universe and the supernatural.  He will reveal Truth to you and give you purpose and an identity that is eternal!  He will give you the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things that you cannot see!  Yes, that is what He calls Faith, and it is a free Gift along with Eternal Life.

 The purpose of the book COSMIC CROSSROAD COUNTDOWN- The Fig Tree & The Prophetic Generation, is to draw many people  to the LORD of Lords and KING of Kings, Jesus Christ.  There are some speed bumps and blind alleys in life, but God uses them to build us up so that we can be a better witness. He wants to develop Godliness in us through perseverance and patience.  There are some errors in this first edition of the book.  A new edition will be out in 4 weeks (since the Publisher acknowledged that they made some big mistakes), but do not worry- the message is the same and it has not been affected by error.  I would still get the first edition since time is a big factor.

If you watch Part I of my recent YouTube video you will see one of my more difficult paintings in the background; one that required a very difficult framing for the canvas, and a whole new technique for laying down paint which required layers of acrylic masking & molding, oil paint for the face, digitized printing on a special plastic for the Word emanating from heaven’s door, spray painting, and gold painting for  the DNA (the miracle molecule for life) in the LORD’s right hand and the Atom in the LORD’s left hand.  I tried to express the Glory and Power of the presence of the LORD.  This painting is illustrated under the recent painting post.

Addition to the Book: COSMIC CROSSROAD COUNTDOWN

My favorite verse to summarize the importance of this book is: “Be alert and of sound mind so that you can pray.”  This simple yet powerful verse emphasizes the fact that this book alerts the public to the need to reconnect with the God of their childhood and to have faith in Him, Jesus Christ.  Most of all we need to pray as we study the Word of God  so that He can teach us and guide us through tough times that are fast approaching.  We are NOT called to defend ourselves with weapons of destruction, but with weapons of the Spirit, or Prayer & The Word of God.  We are not going to help anyone by hiding out in an underground bunker, nor a mountain cave.  We are to be a Light on a Hill for everyone to see and know.   The Answer and Truth are from God and God alone.
NOW FOR THE ADDITION:
If you were God and wanted to communicate a warning to all mankind, what would you do? Would you communicate a written warning first? If mankind did not heed that warning, what would you do next? If He then recreated himself as one of us and again warned us, would you listen? Having left clear directions and updated commands He departs. Then as He predicted most have fallen away, and the future generations followed in disobedience and rebellion.
 
The “Wheels of Time” have repeated this cycle of repentance to disobedience, righteous pursuit to the glorification of the perverse, the lifting of Worship and Relationship with the God of Love and Truth, to the lifting up of the Lie and Deceit.  What would He then do? Does He repeat His past attempts to suppress evil and preserve a righteous remnant? Or does He try to repeat Signs and Warnings to the most influential nation in the world as He did with the Babylonians, then the Persians, and again with the Romans and most recently with the nations that have upheld his ideals and spread his Gospel? In the past those attempts have worked only for a  short time and with each attempt the results have been weaker and less effective. A good example was Nineveh where God sent Jonah to preach, and in due time the evil Empire of Assyria repented.  What motivated them to repent?  Star charts show that there was a Solar Eclipse that happened right before Jonah arrived.  Jesus said to the Pharisees, that to “an evil generation he would give no sign except the sign of Jonah.” Was that the same sign that He just gave to America?  In short time Nineveh went back to its old ways and was totally obliterated by the Babylonians. 
 
We are the strongest nation in the world, with power over trade and currency, domination in language and communication, the world’s entertainer and driver of technology and services, and sadly the greatest producer of perverse, sordid, and anti-family film, music, games, literature, and art. We are the world’s greatest purveyor of gambling, drugs, and abortion aid and services. We drive the world’s economy, lust, greed, and a good part of its addictions. However, America has also been the world’s leader for many decades in defending and protecting victims and the defenseless, medical research and cures, charitable giving and rescue, and the builder and developer of churches, missions, and other Gospel instruments. We have also been the strongest and most consistent supporter of Israel and the persecuted Christian.  It would make sense that God will address America first.

 More than ever in my life- I believe that Christians as a group are at the Crossroad of the Promised Return of the Lord Coming in the Clouds. What legacy are you leaving behind?  Are you sharing the Gospel? Are you preparing your loved ones and others for the rapture, or are you the one that needs to truly repent and believe?  Tell your loved ones that Good News, that Jesus Christ accepts them where they are at!  The God of the Universe has a special Purpose and Plan for them! 
NOTE THAT WHEN THE INITIAL TRANSCRIPTS WERE SENT IN FOR PUBLISHING, THE BOOK WAS SABOTAGED.   You will see the first evidence of this on the very first page on the 3rd paragraph where the name of “Jesus” is mentioned first!  Right after his name there is a capital “Z” placed in the middle of “hiZmself.”
There are at least 9 other changes that were made after they received the final draft!  In one case someone changed the verse chapter related to Matthew 24 to Matthew 9.  Another one adds an entire repeated paragraph.  When reading the book, if you have difficulty understanding it, return to this website for clarification, or email me at “phrescue7@sbcglobal.net,” and I will answer your questions.  The theme and message of the book was NOT changed, nor was the import!  The book is meant as a warning and a “heads Up” to all who read it!  We are already seeing God’s Sign to America playing out with a record breaking “freak” hurricane that struck at the heart of the “Bible Belt” and conservative America just a week after the Solar Eclipse.  In just a matter of one day this category 1 storm turned into a category 4, then moved back and forth over the shoreline for a week of heavy rain and up 134 mph winds! Why would God allow this? America as a nation, will be judged just as was Israel.  God is showing us that ALL of America will be tested.  I believe that Texas is passing the test!  Will what is coming to California/ West Coast,  and the North East/South East be handled with the love and sacrifice that has been seen here? Will we see the next hurricane hitting Florida?  Will extreme cold hit the North this year? I  think even Texas is headed for a record cold winter.
The motion of that hurricane in a sense mimics the movement of Jupiter in the “birth womb” of the Woman of Revelation 12 making this next sign one of its kind and much more significant than the Solar Eclipse. It is also a reflection of the Genesis Prophecy of Genesis 3:15 showing the “seed” in both and the “serpent” wanting to devour it. Like in the Revelation sign the Lion of Judah waits to crush the head of the serpent- its paw sits near the serpents head.  Could the promise of Genesis 3:15 be a foreshadowing of the unfolding of God’s eternal promise to Israel and to the church. AS stated in the book COSMIC CROSSROAD COUNTDOWN the Solar Eclipse also had a divine link between the Jewish world and the Gentile world. This linkage will be heightened when the feast days approach next month!   Here is the cover to the new book:  
“Offer the sacrifices of Righteousness to the Lord”.  God commands us to offer our actions and thoughts as sacrifices to Him.  Yes our “Right Living” is accepted by God as a sacrifice to Him!  This is our sacrifice that we can offer to Him daily – or for that matter at every minute or second of our life!  We should all offer on a daily basis the sacrifices of Praise and obedience.
God wants a relationship with us and he seeks us … all we have to do is to receive the gift that he has to give us and that is the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ and it is only through Jesus Christ ….for as Jesus himself said, the path is narrow and hard but the crowds follow the easy wide path. Do you want to choose him or do you want to choose the way of the world? Jesus Christ is the Door to heaven and the only door… do not be fooled by false prophets or false religions nor the lies of the media and of the world

THIS BOOK WAS originally WRITTEN 2 years AGO, and DUE TO AN ERROR (SOMEONE SABOTAGED THE PRODUCTION by putting a “Z” on the first page next to the name Jesus Christ), it had to be republished 3 months after being submitted.  At that time my heart was impressed with the need to warn America quickly that the Sign of the Solar Eclipse would bring serious storms and other events  and that America needed to repent of its defiance and sins against God and authority.  We all need to come to the table of reconciliation with forgiveness and repentance.  That first 130 page Book was printed in a hurry to beat the Solar event and so had some fragmentation in the flow.  I have now  republished it with the same data but which clarity and better flow. Is God’s Judgment Coming on America?  Is this a COSMIC COUNTDOWN?

Do you have any clue as to what is happening?  They laughed at Noah as he constructed the Ark and today they laugh at anyone who suggests that God created the earth and universe 6000 years ago  in 6 Days!  If you also think this then rethink your faith and read my book that is coming out next week: THE COSMIC CROSSROAD COUNTDOWN: The Fig Tree & the Prophetic Generation.

Think about the Signs!  The Greek mind has always placed more importance on knowledge and less on Hebrew thinking related to the meaning of names, signs, and wonders.  Well you are about to have your little world of “greek” thinking cast into an ocean of wonder and signs.  Note that about 99 years ago we had another big solar eclipse here in American  and guess what happened that year: the worst epidemic in America’s and the world’s history.  Millions of people around the world died from the flu epidemic!   I am not saying this will happen again, but I will suggest that you prepare for some surprises around the corner.  These surprises will cause  America and the world to quake.

You might also want to take careful note of Daniel’s prophecy of the 70th week which has yet to be fulfilled.  This is a 7 year period: you it is important to realize that 7 years later in 2024 we are having another solar eclipse and this one starts in Maine and ends up Texas.  It intersects this next eclipse at the Madrid fault in Missouri and the area where the Ohio River meets the great Mississippi.

The sun will be turned to darkness…before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. Joel 2:31

A few years ago I was teaching through the book of Joel when the ancient words of his prophecy came up off the page. I knew with hair-raising certainty that God’s severe judgment was coming on America! I have taught Joel several times since.  Each time has served to confirm with deep conviction that God is warning America of impending disaster and destruction.

In light of Ezekiel 33:1-6 that commands a watchman to be faithful to warn others of the danger coming against the land, I feel compelled to issue the warning once again. The warning is triggered by the total solar eclipse of August 21, 2017, nicknamed America’s Eclipse. For the first time in almost 100 years, a total solar eclipse will be seen from coast to coast in our nation.  People are preparing to mark this significant event with viewing parties at exclusive prime sites. The celebratory nature regarding the eclipse brings to my mind the Babylonian King Belshazzar who threw a drunken feast the night the Medes and Persians crept under the city gate.  While Belshazzar and his friends partied, they were oblivious to the impending danger.  Belshazzar wound up dead the next day, and the Babylonian empire was destroyed.

Jewish rabbi’s have historically viewed solar eclipses as warnings from God to Gentile nations. Therefore, my perspective on the upcoming phenomenon is not celebratory. While no one can know for sure if judgment is coming on America, it does seem that God is signaling us about something. Time will tell what that something is.

Please be assured that balancing God’s warning is His plea for us to return to Him and rend our hearts in sincere, heartfelt repentance.  I can almost hear the tears in Joel’s voice as he pleads for us to repent and return to God, because “Who knows? He may return and have pity and leave behind a blessing.” (Joel 2:13-14)

Regardless of whether or not the conjecture regarding America’s Eclipse is accurate, we know our nation and our world is in turmoil. Without doubt this is the time for God’s people to get right with God.  To repent of our own sin. To share the Gospel with our neighbors. And to pray that in the midst of His coming wrath, God would remember mercy (Habakkuk 3:2).

  Jesus exits the Door to Heaven to greet us.

The door entrance is shaped like a key hole and the path and steps are the Word of God.  Jesus Christ has the miracle of DNA in his right hand from which he Created Man in His image and all the living creatures and plants on the earth.  In the other hand he holds the Atom which represents all matter, space, and time which He created.  The nuclear Atom is dependent on all 3 to exist and function as a non-supernatural creation from which we can sustain life in this universe.  This is the essence and foundation of all visible life in the universe.   From His eyes comes a supernatural fire and a pure white Holy light by which He can see and know everything, everywhere in total Omniscience.

If you were God and I was the Enemy:

So if you were God Almighty the creator of everything and you wanted to interact with your marvelous creation would you not want to transform yourself into flesh so that you could sense and interact in every way possible- to smell the flowers, see the splendid array of colors in even the smallest butterfly, and talk face to face to those you designed to care for them and the earth around them?

That my friend is what the “Invisible God” did. He came to the Garden of Eden and spoke to Adam and Eve and walked the garden with them. He warned them of an enemy and told them not to eat the bad fruit, then spent most of his time sharing the beauty and wonder of the animals and plants around them. He pointed upward and told them of the “story of life” in the heavens: the stars and their constellations and the eternal message that they carried. You see God loved them as He loves us, and He loves all the creation.

However one of his mighty angels took pride in himself and sought to lead 1/3 of this fellow angels against God. Michael the Archangel opposed him and fought him throughout history- over the body of Moses and in most cases defending the Plan of Redemption formulated by God. Satan tried to undermine this plan and the incarnate God, Jesus Christ, as he fasted in the wilderness.  Satan continues to inspire his minions to try to destroy the “Christ” that God places in us so as to make  the Christian and the church ineffective!

When Jesus Christ accomplished the mission of dying for our sins He gave us the Holy Spirit (Christ in us) to convict, teach, guide, and protect us. He even told the disciples that the Holy Spirit would do more for them than he possibly could – and he does because He resides in us at all times on all places. By the way this is a good parallel to God’s foot prints in the Garden of Eden as He, God Almighty, interacted with His Creation and then provided an animal skin as a covering for the sin of Adam-  shedding the blood of a pure animal! In each Case God is Working on our behalf to increase intimacy and protection. For He Does Love Us and Cares for us!

Satan, on the other hand, has tried in every way to destroy this very special relationship by trying to redefine and distort it! Just as he did with Adam and Eve and with Jesus, he tries to cast doubt, reshape logic, distort, undermine Truth, and tempt us. The best way to do this is to fool people into thinking that Jesus Christ is not God! Likewise Satan desires to redefine and undermine the Holy Spirit and the church. But God has appointed his Truth to Win Out in the End and it will despite Satan’s best efforts in creating these falsehoods and delusions.

So imagine if you or I were Satan, what would one do to undermine God’s Plan? 1) I would try to kill all prophets and those who carried the message from the Garden and the stars. 2) I would then have tried to kill the baby before he was empowered!- which Satan did try. But God sent his angels and the Saving Truth spoken through Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and others so that for the 1st time in history an enemy nation, Persia, would actually rebuild a servile nation and its sacred Temple! Centuries later their students would search the Stars to guide the Gentile kings to the newborn KING of KINGS. 3) I would do all I could to kill the incarnate God – which Satan thought that he accomplished through deceit, pride, greed, and the manipulation of thoughts! But his plan failed and God’s plan of Redemption through the Defeat of Death won out! 4) Finally I would try to kill off His “child” – the church- and His promised people the Jews ! This has been very successful in many areas of the world! But the love of Christians including their willingness to forgive has been the best weapon to disarm Satan’s followers in the Middle East!  Once the number of Martyrs is counted, Jesus Christ will return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords to Judge the world.  If I were Satan I would make one final attempt to fool people by disquising myself as “the wolf in sheeps clothing”.  I would try my best to create false “loving”  Christs of every kind:
a) A “prophet christ” in Islam and which makes Jesus just a prophet who died on a stake and is subservient to their god Allah. This concept has worked well to stoke nations into killing Christians and subverting the church

b) Or creating “Michael-christ” angel who appears as an angel to defeat evil, but is not Jehovah God as promoted by the Jehovah Witnesses. This created christ appeals to many and is a good counterfeit. But instead of promoting the fact that Jesus as God offers salvation as a free gift -they emphasize works only-salvation!

c) Or a “christ-spirit” that helps people and is super loving and sympathetic and willing to do anything for you if you know the spiritual methods to let him do it. This and other spiritual forms of christ are the New Age christ.

d) Or a “human christ” who will eventually allow Satan to inhabit his life force so that he can perform great miracles and command great power with world unifying leadership skills. This will be the Anti-christ.

e) Or a “mini anti-christ” like Hitler who will be gifted in speech and debate – able to use human skills and intelligence to destroy anything good around them.

f) Or a “created christ angel” whose brother is Satan himself and who again is really powerless to save on His own merit. This christ is not really God for he is a created spirit-being and offers humans the opportunity to be “gods” like him and have “heavenly families”. Again much of the Mormon faith is works based and diminishes the Truth of who Jesus Christ is by subverting His true Name!.

A World of Lies or the Lilies of Truth?

Jesus Christ has to be either a liar, a lunatic, or who he really said he is: GOD.

 

 

 

 

Yes, Jesus Christ showed himself to be God throughout his ministry and THAT is why the Jewish leadership felt that it was their duty to stop Him and kill him. In John 10:33, as they picked up stones to kill him, Jesus asks, “I have shone you many good works for which of these do you want to stone me”, and they said, “Because you a mere man claim to be God.” They saw him feed 5000 and then 4000 and were amused, they saw him raise the dead and heal the sick and were stunned, but when he drove out the demons they declared that he was the son of Satan. And so Jesus replies, “How can Satan cast out Satan?” To us and to the entire creation, He says, “I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever!” (Rev.1:17–18).

So need we ask, “How can such a powerful Truth and Person be denied when the evidence is so clear?” Jesus has already fulfilled over 300 prophecies from the Old Testament and will fulfill 2X more in His 2nd Coming! His resurrection was proof to all who had followed him that He indeed reigned over man’s greatest enemy = Death thus fulfilling his own prophecy – that He would raise from the grave in 3 days! In John 10:17-18, Jesus said, “I am laying down My life so I may take it up again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down on my own.” In response many Jews said, “He has a demon and He’s crazy!”

There is the investigative reporter by the name of Lee Strobel who after seeing his wife surrender to Jesus Christ and accept Him as Lord and Savior, desperately sought to prove the resurrection a myth! He is now author of many books including, “The Case for Christ”, “The Case for Easter”, “The Case for Faith”, & now “The Case for a Creator”. He had collected all the evidence and tried to make a courtroom like case against the resurrection. The evidence proved otherwise and what he had thought were Lies became Lilies of Truth!  Many other intellectuals including the well known CSI expert, J. Warner Wallace, author of Cold-Case Christianity and Josh McDowell author of Evidence Demands a Verdict, & More Than a Carpenter (with over 5 million printed) studied the evidence and also were convinced in their minds & convicted deep in their hearts of this Truth! The Word transformed them and they now preach the Truth of the Gospel throughout this earth! The tiniest seed can grow into a big tree of faith; likewise the Lily of the field that “resurrects” from the dead “ in all it’s beauty is more arrayed than the glory of Solomon.”

The problem is the vast majority of people are not only unwilling to seek the Truth, but are also afraid to discover and accept the truth – because it will prove them wrong and convict them of their own sin! Many of them would be shocked to learn that to have owned a Bible or to have gone to church, or to have a Christian parent or grandparent does NOT make them a Christian! As Jesus clearly illustrated in his parables of the sower, the seed, and the rich man – they have been distracted by the world, some seduced by wealth, others have had doubts planted by the wiles of the devil, but some fall away due to the simple cares of life! Often the most loving thing God can do is allow these “Prodigal Sons” to be severely strained and shaken in order to save them!

Do you think that Almighty God will exempt anyone from His commands and Covenants? Jesus who calls himself the “Word” says to us: “Abide in me and I will abide in you”, “Those I love, I reprove & discipline – therefore be zealous and repent”, “You are mistaken not understanding the scriptures nor the POWER of GOD”, “Everyone who acknowledges me before men – I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven, but whoever denies me before men- I will also deny him before my Father in heaven”! Jesus Christ, the Ancient of Days and The Lord of the Heavenly Army will be the Judge! Take careful note of the witness of the Apostles, the martyrs throughout time who die for their faith, the countless others who give selflessly for Christ- bringing healing to the sick and lost throughout this earth, & to the authors mentioned earlier; they are NOT crazy nor delusional! For instance they do not blow themselves up to kill the innocent!

LIFE is not going to get any easier for any of us as we grow older and more overwhelmed by a changing world! God has been very clear that He is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and that He will return in the form of the reigning King of Kings, the Lion of Judah, and the Apha and the Omega to judge the earth and every soul that lives and has lived. One can quote many verses, but here is just one: “Judgment will take place at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with His powerful angels, taking vengeance with flaming fire on those who don’t know God and on those who don’t obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus“, II Thess.1:7-8.

God desires and aches for each of us to seek Him out with all our heart, mind, and soul! That is why He has given us so MUCH evidence and so MUCH opportunity for inspiration and observational experience. Have you not heard God shout to you in your pain or whisper to you in your joy? The Truth has been sitting on your table top, in inspirational music, classical literature, in the wonder of nature, in the majesty of the heavens, and in the faith of a child. They were put there as a testimony of who God is and How MUCH HE LOVES you and me! Just like a Good Father, He wants you to” know” him which implies to Love Him and Obey Him! So how can we know Him, if we do not respect, nor follow Him? And how can we know Him and follow Him, if we do not read His Word, seek and speak to Him in pray, or listen to His message?

Why do we spend so much time studying a world system with it’s lies, and so little time and effort studying what our Maker and Redeemer wants us to study and know? To know God is to Trust in Him, his Precepts, & his Promises! To know Him is to know both His Truth & His Love, gaining purpose for your life.  To know him is to know his Name and your true Identity! God says to us, “Anyone who calls upon the name of the LORD will be saved”, and Psalm 54:1, “Oh God, save me by your name and vindicate me by your power.”

To know Jesus Christ is to have the most powerful personal relationship one will ever choose to have – so that God can lead you to exceptional Truth.  Only He can free your mind from slavery to the world and its lies! Only He can open your heart to who He really is: Faithful and True, Good Shepherd, the Door, Savior, and Author and Finisher of our Faith.

The movie “La La Land” is about the consequences of making wrong choices. Life is indeed a series of choices & the biggest choice that anyone can make is to choose to believe and trust in Jesus Christ. Most other choices are just a distraction that God is trying to clear away from the path. Jesus warns, “Strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads to LIFE, & few there be that find it”! Know that we are just specks in time & our eyes a particle of personal joy, but our soul is for eternity and linked to Heaven or to Hell!” The choice is ours alone – God does not send anyone to Hell. Despite God’s most clear and precise warnings many will still choose it! Make no mistake HELL is NO “La La Land” – it is a permanent separation from God and an eternal fiery pit that God originally designed for Satan and his angels!

When we think of eternity many people think of the stars and light years! The Genesis Truth is that “God fashioned two great lights- the larger light to shine during the day and the smaller one to shine during the night -as well as the stars”. In the book of Job written 1600 years before the Savior’s birth God says that, “He shakes the earth from its orbit, so that its foundations shudder… He alone spreads out the heavens, he walks on the waves of the sea. He created Bear, Orion, the Pleiades, and the southern constellations. He does great things that cannot be explained”-just as Jesus walked on water, restored the eyes of a man born blind & raised Himself from the grave!  By the way a great book to read on the constellations, why God created them, and named each star is  “Looking Up”.

So the Big Question is, do you want to believe a supernatural God or do you want to believe men in white robes who cannot explain why or how: 1) Earth is the only planet discovered with water -the essence of life- 326 million trillion gallons of it! 2) The moon is located at the perfect distance for both tidal effects and solar eclipses 3) Triton, the moon of Neptune, far from the heat of the sun, rotates backwards and has hot nitrogen geysers;  hence its internal heat cannot be billions of years old! 4) Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune have large magnetic fields which would have dissipated over time as earth has! 5) If earth began as a ball of fire, where did all the water come from? 6 ) If Venus was part of a big bang, why is it the only planet that spins backwards? 7) IOS a smaller moon has 9 active volcanoes and Europa has constant big geysers – both a long way from the sun, yet HOT!  8) Our moon had only centimeters of dust as predicted by a NASA Christian Space Scientist and is moving away one inch/year!  Less than a million years of shift would have made life impossible for plants, mammals & dinosaurs during moon eclipses and chaotic high tides!  9) Why have the billions of spiral galaxies not unwound from their perfect spiral shape over billions of years – as physics demands!  1000’s of other questions of this magnitude make the Big Bang and billions of years totally illogical and unsupported by observational science and math! 10) Do you really think that everything came from nothing?!! – This would be against entropy- or both Laws of Thermodynamics and everything empirically tested in science and illustrated in history!

One reason I travel the world is to see the extreme variety of plants and animals – for instance the Weta, and insect in New Zealand, that has “antifreeze” for blood so that it can survive frozen all winter long! Some of the ferns and “pine trees” that I got to see there are the same found in countless fossils! So it is a matter of who you have faith in! God who created the Lilies of the field or mankind which has lied throughout the ages?  Fossils form in just months at the hot spring in Yorkshire near the river Ned.  They show that it does not take long to fossilize the outer layers- just like the dinosaur bones that are fossilized on the outside, yet have blood cells, osteocytes, osteoblasts, and elastic tissue on the inside! There are presently over 150 cases of dinosaur, water-born animals, and bird fossil finds that have evidence of intact proteins with DNA – and thus they all have C14 that can be dated! If even a trace of C14 is present the tissue or cell cannot be older than 75,000  years!  Another incredible book to read is “Undenieable” by Douglas Axe who worked in the same lab as did Watson and Crick.  His studies show that protein enzymes, the building block of life, cannot be altered without causing cellular failure! This fact alone totally shoots down macro evolution.

A Definition of Love – Part 1

Definition of Love – Part 1,
First we must recognize that “God is Love” and since we cannot fully comprehend God it makes sense that we therefore cannot in our finite minds comprehend the full dimensions of divine LOVE. But we can get a good handle on it by studying God’s Word which says, “We love, because God first loved us,” and the flip side, “Those God loves, he disciplines“. God is the author of Love, so if you want to understand Love you need to understand God’s Word.

We know that Jesus Christ is the “Word” from John 1:1 which states, “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God”. The Word is perfect and according to Heb. 4:12, “The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul and spirit…as it judges the thoughts and purposes of the heart”. As the Holy Spirit works in us, “testing the heart and searching the mind to give us what we deserve,”God uses the Word to dramatically change our way of thinking (Ps.119): “Revive me according to your word. Fortify me according to your word. May those who fear you see me and be glad, for I have hoped in your word. Your word is forever, …your word is a lamp for my feet, a light for my pathway. You are my fortress and shield. I place my hope in your word. The sum of your word is truth.” The Word also proclaims the names of GOD- expressing His eternal Truth and Love: Provider, King of King, Apha and Omega, Lord of Lord, Savior, Creator, the Door, etc.. The Word commands us to love over 55 times! Love is His perfect Command, His character, and also His perfect Gift to us!

The Word of God is “His Story” as it reveals His love message to us through real life struggles and endeavors! It transcends time and puts everything including pain, death, and evil in the right perspective so that through the Holy Spirit we can defeat them and ease the trials they bring.  The Word supercedes our limited knowledge for “the foolishness of God is greater than the wisdom of man!” And when we apply God’s Word it gives us help, purpose, identity, and wisdom beyond mankind’s best scholarship! God’s Word confronts and convicts us with the Truth, then  lovingly comforts us with Grace. “For it is by Grace through faith that we are saved, it is a Gift of God so that no one will boast.” Love is the major part of this pre-imminent gift of Grace. This dynamic tension between Grace & Truth working with love in hearts & minds releases us from all the lies and fears of the world and sets us free! It also is the key to Salvation, a sanctified life in Christ, and eternal life with Jesus Christ!

The Word supercedes our limited knowledge for “the foolishness of God is greater than the wisdom of man!” And when we apply God’s Word it gives us help, purpose, identity, and wisdom beyond mankind’s best scholarship! God confronts and convicts us with the Truth, then He lovingly comforts us with His Grace. “For it is by Grace through faith that we are saved, it is a Gift of God so that no one will boast.” This dynamic tension between Grace & Truth working with love in hearts & minds releases us from all the lies and fears of the world setting us free! It also is the key to Salvation and eternal life in Jesus Christ!

So have we defined LOVE? Not really – but we have gotten to its source. Lets explore some more! What is the greatest act of LOVE? Jesus Christ defined it this way, “No greater love is this, than for a person to die for her/his friend”. Jesus did just that, He said to those who loved him that he no longer called them servants, but friends and He followed through by dying for them and for us! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life,” John 3:16.  But Jesus also said: “Love your enemies as yourself, do good to those who hate you.” And he also said, “Love your neighbors as you love yourself”. In Mat 7:21-23, he says “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.” God seems to be the Ultimate Profiler! Yet God in His Holiness must execute Divine Justice! He alone knows those that have come to Him by faith and faith alone!

Jesus says that friendship with the world is enmity towards God.  Jesus told the begging Canaanite woman that “his food” was for Israel not her! He also says that the path to God’s Kingdom is a very narrow way with a narrow gate as opposed to the broad road and wide gate of the world which leads to destruction. And because of self deception few will find it. Jesus also warned that He was the only way to eternal life- to be with the Father.  Can this “politically incorrect” God be perfect LOVE? Is there LOVE in rejection, in the Law, and in the Judgements made by God in the Old and New Testaments by which people, cities, and nations were wiped out? Here again hard Truth and loving Grace measured with time work together to bring fulfilment to His Promises! “All things work together for good to those who love Him, and are called according to His purpose“. Divine love and faith seems to bind together the natural and the supernatural, death to life, the past to the present, and judgement to forgiveness!.

The Lord warns of 2 kinds of deception: those who hear and do not do and those who profess yet do not obey. He then says that, “if you do not live a righteous life then you are deceived“. Note that He says all this as a warning in LOVE to the deceived, the Lost, and even the criminal. Why? Because He wants everyone to repent and turn away from sin and rebellion. He wants an eternal relationship with you and me. God sent the Prophets to do exactly that and to present a Hope & a Promise for your future Salvation! The fact that nothing can hide us from His love should tell us how complex, special, and profound His love really is! Jesus also encourages us by saying that even thought Satan is the Father of lies, “He who is in you is greater than the one (Satan) who is in the world!”  And when Jesus confronted Satan in the wilderness, he said “One must not live on bread alone, but on every word coming out of the mouth of God.”

The Classic Biblical passage on LOVE is in Chapter 13 of I Corinthians 13. I will quote the best part of it: “If I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. . . When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” I believe Paul is saying that as we mature in Christ we grow in both faith and Love, but we will not fully understand everything until we are with Christ, then we will fully know the mysteries, the Trinity, and all that He has done for us and through us. In essence we cannot fully understand His LOVE, nor be complete in his “Love” until we are eternally with HIM. Even though we are unable to fully comprehend the extent and depth of His Love within every Word & message, we can learn more and more as we study it, apply it and allow the Holy Spirit to direct us and convict us of sin.

In Rom 8:38-39 Paul states, “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” We will grow as His Love washes over us and connects us to Him in a deeper way. The faith that He plants will grow and bear fruit in the good soil of Truth, hope, and love! I Jn.4:16 says, “God is love and the one who remains in love remains in God & God remains in him.” In His love, we are born again as “children of God” with a purpose and a plan that He directs! Amen!

We know that GOD is Love and therefore the WORD is love, but how about everything else? The world is fallen! Despite the imperfect nature of man and the world, God is still reflected in His Creation: we see it every day in the beauty, and intricacy of the universe, of nature and in mankind which He (the Triune God- the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) created in His image, Genesis 1:26. At best we can allow God’s love to flow through us, just as God’s love is manifested in the variation and order of Creation! After all He made it for us to share and enjoy!

There are dozens of passages that define how we should interact with others in a selfless, loving way. Much like the sermon on the Mount where Jesus shared the essence of Love and Righteousness, Paul speaks over and over again on what being “in Christ” implies: Ph.2:3, “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others”. Due to the love of money, knowledge, and myths, Paul warned Timothy: “Avoid the irreverent babble and contradictions of what is falsely called ‘knowledge,’ for by professing it some have swerved from the faith”, I Tim. 6:20. As one falls away from the faith, love is misdirected. In Deut. 30:6, God commanded: “Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.” So study God’s Word and not just “hear it” but also “do it”,then Live in Christ and enjoy his love!

WE CAN THEREFORE CONCLUDE: Because God is Love & God is the Word, then the Word of God is Love. Since God is the perfect Creator of everything, we should see evidence of this love in everything that He created – in a sunset or flamingo! God’s message to us should inspire us to study & enjoy his Word & the best of his Creation, to pray earnestly, and to share His Truth & loving Grace with others!  Love is the elastic that holds Grace and Truth together so that our faith is balanced. For it is faith tempered with love that allows us to “see” without our eyes, to know the Truth that sets us free, and to believe in the God of the “impossible”. The whole Divine process of Grace and Truth mixing with Love affecting and transforming us is a better definition of pure LOVE than anything I know! There is of course the world’s love and the feeling and emotion of love. There is of course the world’s love and the feeling and emotion of love.
