The traditional KJV interpretation of Daniel 9:27 reads: “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” These translators declare that the “he” is the Anti-Christ, yet when you read the whole passage in context it should be obvious that the “he” must continue from the first part of the passage which is the “prince” and therefore should be interpreted as being Jesus Christ and NOT the anti-Christ. We know that it is Jesus Christ who gave us the New Testament Covenant through His death, resurrection, and shed blood at the Cross and at Heaven’s altar. The proper translation should read, “The covenant shall prevail for many for one week. He, Jesus Christ, shall cause the sacrifices and offerings to cease, and upon the temple all sacrifices shall be an abomination of desolation.” What this means is that the 3.5 years of the ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ begins the New Covenant and ends all sacrifices and offerings for sin. It also means that the final 7 years in Daniel’s 70 weeks are divided into two 3.5 periods, the later of which has not been fulfilled. And take note that the greek verb used in Daniel 9:27 for the Covenant is not “confirm” which would be a man directed action but is instead “Prevail” which is what God’s Holy Promise does. It prevails.
Why the Prophecy Gurus are wrong
Many Messianic Jews believe that a Temple will not be rebuilt and that we have misinterpreted Daniel 9, specifically 9:27. The word sacrifice is not in italics in Daniel 9, but it is in Daniel 8, 11, and 12. This is because the word was added by the translators, but it was not added in Daniel 9. Added words are in italics in the KJV when they were not in the original text. It was not added in Daniel 9 because it was in the original text. The emphasis is that Jesus did the action: He took away the sacrifices. The antichrist will not do it. There have not been any animal sacrifices since the destruction of the temple. If the temple were to rebuilt today it would be an “abomination of desolation” for the very fact that it would be a denial that Jesus Christ is the Final Sacrifice for all who receive Him.
Jonathan Cahn and other “prophets” have opened up a series of inspired schools of thought that converge on one particular year for the Lord’s 2nd Coming. They have independently determined that 2032 will be the year that the Lord will fulfill his Promises and establish His Kingdom on earth. We know that God gave Daniel the 70 weeks Prophecy of which 1/2 week has not yet been fulfilled. Those last 3.5 years will be a time of Tribulation with the 2nd half described as the Wrath of God. Its details are revealed in Matthew 24 and in the book of Revelation from Chapters 6-20. When we subtract those 3.5 years from 2032 we are left with 2028.5 giving us a span of time beginning with today for the Rapture to occur and for the Church, the Bride of Christ, to be lifted up to be with the Groom, Jesus Christ in the clouds. This is revealed in I Thessalonians 4;16-17. This passage mentions the shout of command, the voice of an angel and the sound of God’s trumpet (which is the shofar) that announces the rapture of both dead and living saints. Note how it replicates the 7th time that Joshua and his annointed men marched around Jericho. They blew the Trumpets 7 times and shouted 7 times – at the command of the Angel of the Lord.
As you may already know my last book also points to the time in 2031-32—-on which the 2nd Coming will occur. Jonathan Cahn in his Dragon’s prophecy book lays out some very powerful date periods and historic parallels that relate to God’s divine timelines. For instance he reveals that Satan has imitated God’s Jubilee with his own dark Jubilee that runs 6 years concurrent. For instance the 1917 Jubilee runs back in time 400 years or 8 Jubilees to the 1517 conquest of Jerusalem by the Ottoman Turks (and the same year that Martin Luther nailed the 95 thesis on the Castle Church in Wittenberg). It also points forward one Jubilee to the miracle war in 1967 that released Jerusalem from the control of Jordan and Islam. The number of days from that historical miracle war in 1967 to the day of June 5, 2017, in which the US Senate approved the move of the US embassy to Jerusalem (recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel) is equal to exactly 50 years. Conversely the number of days from the 1973 war in Israel in which Syrian forces overran Israel forces on the Sabbath, to the date of the Oct. 7, 2023 barbaric attack on innocent Israel civilians was also 50 years. This later Jubilee is the dark satanic jubilee.
In my book, Cosmic Crossroad Countdown: The Invisible War and Final Chapter, I state that 1948 is a key pivot date for establishing the “generation” that begins with the budding of the Fig Tree in the Olivett Discourse. Israel was “born” in one day. This last generation born since 1948, is the generation that will complete the Lord’s Promise for His Return and provides the timing for fulfilling the 2nd Coming. It will also fulfill the beginning of the 7th Day of “Rest” or the Promised 1000 years of God’s Kingdom on earth. Each of the 7 Days of Creation represents 1000 years. 2 Peter 3:8–9 reads: “But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness.” Considering that Jesus Christ was crucified in 32 AD, the next two 1000 year periods would end in 1032 and 2032. This last 1000 year period or the 7th Day of Rest begins in 2032. That would infer that Jesus Christ will return in His 2nd Coming in 2032.
A powerful divine sign is the interesting mulitplication of the number 12 (which represents complete governance as in 12 months, 12 Apostles, 12 tribes and 12 foundations with 12 gates in Heaven) multiplied by the number 7 of perfection (as in those 7 Days of Creation, the 7 Angels, 7 Churches, and 7 Lampstands in Revelation plus the 7 Seal, Trumpet, and Bowl judgements): 7 times 12 is 84. Add 84 to 1948 and the number adds up to 2032. As Daniel tells us, history will end with 7 years of Tribulation broken up into 2 three and a half years– before the 2nd Coming. The final 3.5 years will be the Day of the Lord or Wrath of God. Another term often used is the “Time of Jacob’s Trouble.” This Time of Trouble may begin in the mid-year of 2028.
Will the Rapture happen around the mid point of 2028 leaving 3.5 years for the Day of the Lord prior to the Lords 2nd Coming? On September 21, 2028 the Feast of Trumpets begins, which comes at first new moon in the month of Teshri (the 7th month) and during the period of Teshuva (which calls all Jews or those in “God’s kingdom” to search inward to forgive debts, seek forgivenss and Return to the Lord.) Rosh Hashana or the Feast of Trumpets begins the New Year which after 10 days leads to the Day of Atonement. The Feast of Trumpets is the only High Holy feast that begins with the new Moon which by tradition is a Day that no one can tell the Day or the Hour. For instance it would not been seen on a cloudy day or even when slightly overcast. And this Feastival is actually a 3-day period from September 20 to 22 and is similar to the period of time in 2017 when the Great Sign of Revelation 12 happened on the 23rd or the day after the Feast of Trumpets. To learn more about the importance of September 23, 2017 read any book in the Cosmic Crossroad Countdown trilogy the latest being “The Invisible War and Final Chapter.”
Another important question is how can you prepare? The best answer is to open the Bible and let the Lord teach and guide you as you pray for insight. Ask Jesus Christ into your heart, by opening your heart to change and answers from the King of Kings. We are like fish in a fish tank. The best way for the compassionate loving Creator to relate to the fish is to become a fish. God sent his only begotten Son to show us His love so that we will not perish but will have fellowship and Life with Him.
